Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born 15 September 1915, in Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY, who was raised in the Mormon Church's First Family, used her literary talent and expertise in research to write an intriguing psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title No Man has My History, she used both. It's a name derived from a funeral speech made by Joseph Smith. He stated: "You didn't know me and you hadn't known my heart. No man knows my history. I am not able to tell you. me to share it with you. Fawn, a 29-year-old woman has written: "Since that moment of truthfulness, three or more writers have risen to the task." A lot of them have denigrated him and some have praised him, a handful have attempted at diagnosing him clinically. It's not that documents are lacking but rather they're wildly contradictory. The process of collating these documents--of sifting first-hand account from third-hand plagiarism of fitting Mormon and non-Mormon accounts into an assemblage that is credible historical claims. It's an interesting as well as educational journey. FawnBrodie took on the challenge of a professional. The results of her study and writing made her immortalized with world-wide fame: Thaddeus Stevens. The Devil Drives (1959) Scourge Of The South Thomas Jefferson. The Personal Story of Richard Nixon (1974), in posthumously.
