Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor director, producer, as well as a teacher of St. Thomas University). Her father is from Britain and her mother is an "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's first memories include attending play rehearsals and observing her mother at her job. In her early years Anna was a part of a variety of television commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto for her acting to improve. The actress later moved to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009. Anna became a Jew in 2011, after she converted to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December this year. They then reaffirmed their vows at a Jewish wedding ceremony that took place in Fredericton on April 11, 2011. Bo's love affair with Lauren, portrayed by Zoie Parker, was featured in CNN's list of Favorite TV Couples of All Time and was named E!'s Top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
